Felipe Preguiça is the first two-time absolute champion in ADCC history

Felipe "Preguiça" Pena made history at ADCC 2026. In the absolute final, he submitted Roosevelt Sousa with a rear-naked choke and became the first athlete to win the ADCC absolute twice. His first title came in 2017, when he beat Gordon Ryan in the final.
ADCC was held on September 12 and 13 at the Tauron Arena in Kraków. It was the first edition in Poland and the first outside Las Vegas since 2019.
In the absolute, Preguiça had four matches: he won three by submission and one on points. In the semifinal, he submitted Ruslan Abdulaev in overtime. In the over 99 kg division, he won two matches by submission but was beaten by Josh Saunders in overtime.

- Over 99 kg: Victor Hugo (Brazil) submitted Josh Saunders
- Absolute: Felipe Preguiça (Brazil) submitted Roosevelt Sousa
- Women's up to 55 kg: Jasmine Rocha submitted Ana Rodrigues
- Women's up to 65 kg: Ana Carolina Vieira (Brazil) submitted Sarah Galvão
- Women's over 65 kg: Helena Crevar (USA) submitted Anabel Lopez
In the superfight, Yuri Simões beat Kaynan Duarte by medical stoppage, after an elbow injury to Duarte.
Another standout was American Helena Crevar. At 19, she became the youngest women's champion in ADCC history and won all of her matches by submission.
