Kennedy Maciel is an ADCC champion. The Brazilian won the -66 kg division at ADCC 2026 in Kraków, Poland, and submitted Gavin Corbe in the final.
Before the final, Kennedy eliminated Diego Pato in the semifinal.
The title runs in the family. Kennedy is the son of Rubens Charles, better known as Cobrinha, who has five ADCC medals, three of them gold. With this win, the two became the first father and son to both be crowned ADCC World Champions.
Kennedy competes for Alliance. Brazil had three other champions in Kraków: Victor Hugo in the +99 kg division, Ana Carolina Vieira in the women's -65 kg division and Felipe Preguiça in the absolute.
