Victor Hugo won the first ADCC gold of his career. The Brazilian took the over-99 kg division in Kraków, Poland, submitting all four opponents he faced.
- First match: Heikki Jussila, with a heel hook
- Quarterfinals: Ruslan Abdulaev, with a rear-naked choke
- Semifinal: Mark MacQueen, with a leg lock
- Final: Josh Saunders
In the final, Victor Hugo fell behind with two penalties, but turned the match around with a submission against Josh Saunders, who had eliminated Felipe Preguiça in the same division.
After the title, Victor Hugo announced that he will no longer compete at ADCC.
