AOJ wins the men's team title and Atos the women's at the Pan No-Gi
The IBJJF has closed the academy scoring for the No-Gi Pan Championship. Gracie Barra took the juvenile title and Renzo Gracie won the master division by a wide margin.
The IBJJF released the team standings for the No-Gi Pan Championship, held through Sunday, October 4, in Secaucus, New Jersey, United States. In the adult male division, AOJ finished first with 52 points, 15 more than Gracie Barra and Alliance.
In the adult female division, Atos took the trophy with 37 points. The team had double champion Sarah Galvão, gold at middleweight and in the black belt open class.

A night of leg locks
In the black belt division, leg submissions dominated. According to a count by the BJJ Heroes website, there were 84 submissions in 103 matches, not counting the open class. The heel hook appeared 21 times and the straight foot lock 14.
The biggest name of the tournament was Poland's Pawel Jaworski, from Academia Gorila, the light heavyweight and open class champion. In the open class semifinal, he submitted Luuk Aaron with a heel hook.
